The biggest hearts

I know a woman with the biggest heart

One that makes me proud to be

Just who I am, completely free

The hearts overflowed and continues to fill

Growing each day, ignoring all woe’s

She learns from the past and looks for the future

Offering all she’s ever known.

I know a man with the biggest heart

Each thump is not for him,

A single beat for another’s feet

Working twice as hard to make ends meet

But it is filled with love not a hint of hate

To help all find their fate.

Between the hearts they make a whole

To teach lessons and spread wisdom to all

Simple it is and they always say

Find compassion, peace, and honesty without vain.

Clear the air but not the love

And be the first to share your own

Help thy take the first steps

And welcome them in the doorway of compassion.

Let us understand others

And the story of their hearts

Listen to the woes for they may revile your own

Offer peace and accept the replies.

Living in a lie will eat you alive

Kill the demons and free the truth

Be who you are to remain in youth

Honesty is the key to living free.

And so these hearts have done just exactly what they preach

Teaching young ones what to seek

So thank you because one will never forget

The emotion you’ve shown.

The hugs you’ve offered.

The lessons you’ve taught. And

The love you’ve given.
